With over 5 million users and a #1 App Store ranking in Health & Fitness (220k+ reviews, 4.9/5 stars), we’re growing quickly and delivering measurable impact in GovTech and healthcare.

Role Overview

As Technical Project Manager, you’ll own end-to-end delivery of complex software initiatives—spanning our Django/Python web platform, native iOS/Android apps, and integrations with government systems. You’ll partner with engineering, product, compliance, QA, and business stakeholders to plan, execute, and close projects on time, on budget, and to scope, while ensuring rigorous risk management and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Delivery Ownership

    • Align resources, remove blockers, and report progress transparently.
  2. Product Insight & Planning
    • Understand product capabilities and constraints; contribute meaningfully to roadmap and sprint planning.
  3. Hands-On Execution
    • Write user stories, own Jira boards, and manage sprint ceremonies—beyond facilitation, drive tasks to completion.
  4. Servant Leadership
    • Empower teams with clarity and support, while holding them accountable to delivery goals and quality standards.
  5. Risk Management
    • Identify risks early, perform impact analyses, and proactively drive resolutions or escalations.
  6. Continuous Improvement
    • Seek opportunities to optimize tools, processes, and team health through retrospectives and data-driven insights.
  7. Adaptability & Agility
    • Thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments; adjust plans and priorities as business needs shift.
  8. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
    • Serve as primary liaison among Engineering, Product, Compliance (HIPAA, FedRAMP, SOC-2), Customer Success, and external partners.
  9. Metrics & Reporting
    • Track and surface key performance indicators (schedule adherence, budget variance, quality metrics) via dashboards and executive briefings.
  10. Team Coordination & Mentorship
  • Facilitate cross-team dependencies and mentor junior project managers and scrum masters in best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project or delivery management experience in software development.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale, regulated projects (healthcare, government, or similar).
  • Hands-on with Agile/Scrum/Scrumban practices and tools (Jira).
  • Exceptional communicator, adept at aligning technical and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk management, budgeting, and resource planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Product Owner.
  • Familiarity with Python/Django, native iOS/Android, and AWS.
  • Experience with HIPAA, FedRAMP, and SOC-2 compliance.
  • Experience in GovTech.
  • Prior experience scaling teams in high-growth startup environments.

Core Competencies

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Build trust through transparency, prioritize team needs, and foster a culture of ownership.
  • Analytical Rigor: Leverage data to inform decisions, optimize workflows, and measure impact.
  • Adaptability: Pivot quickly in response to changing priorities, maintaining focus on outcomes.
  • Customer Focus: Keep end-user and regulatory requirements at the forefront of planning and execution.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity packages
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Remote-first culture with flexibility
  • Monthly wellness stipend
  • Generous paid time off and sick leave

If you’re passionate about hands-on delivery leadership and driving mission-critical software in a regulated environment, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply with your résumé and a brief note on how you’ve managed complex, compliance-driven projects end-to-end.
