How can I get my COVID-19 test results?
The Department of Health in your state utilizes Healthy Together to securely deliver test results through our mobile application. You will receive a text message once your results are available in the Healthy Together app. Once you receive this text, follow the steps below:
- Download “Healthy Together” > Learn More
- Sign in with the mobile number you provided your testing facility
- Enter the verification pin sent to your device to login
- Select your location
- On the Home Screen tap select "view all test results"
- Select the date of the test result you wish to view
- Unlock your result by entering name, date of birth and relationship to patient
*We DO NOT share results via website, email or phone call - only through the Health Together app. If you wish to receive results via phone or email, you will need to reach out to your testing center directly.
**If you feel there is a significant delay with one or more of your results, we recommend calling your testing center or lab directly for an update.
I was locked out of my test results.
We take the protection of your health information very seriously and will only unlock the results if the user enters information that matches the results we have from the testing center. If this information does not match and you attempt to access your test results three times, your results will become permanently locked in the app.
Your date of birth may not match if data was entered incorrectly at your testing facility. Once a result is locked, only your lab or testing center can provide you with results.
Once your lab/testing facility corrects the mistake, they will need to submit a new copy of the results to the Department of Health for you to receive them in Healthy Together. In the meantime, the testing center can provide results directly over the phone as well.
My mobile device is not compatible.
Our minimum support version is iOS 12 and Android 7. If you are unable to download the Healthy Together app, you will need to reach out to your testing center or lab directly to retrieve your results. We DO NOT share results via website, email or phone call.
If you receive an error message that Healthy Together is not available in your App Store, you can change your App Store settings to the US. Please be aware this may interfere with future downloads if you do not change it back. Please see below for steps to make this change.
- Tap settings on your mobile device
- Tap Name at the top of settings
- Tap Media & Purchases
- Tap “View Account”
- Tap “Country/Region”
- Tap “Change Country/Region”
- Select the country of choice (e.g., “United States”)
- Agree to terms
- You may then search "Healthy Together" in the App Store and download
To revert the change, follow the same steps and select your original country during step 6.
How can I access results for a family member?
You will receive a text message for each individual that was tested when results are ready. Make sure to login to Healthy Together with the personal information the testing center recorded for each individual. If the test results were recorded all under the same phone number, they will all be accessible under the same Healthy Together account.
The first and last name of the patient are already visible on the result. Enter the birthday of the PATIENT as well as your relationship to the patient to unlock. If the birthday and relationship are valid you will be able to see the result.
I need to change my name or phone number.
Healthy Together does not have access to update your name or phone number.
For name, reach out to your lab directly.
For phone number, if you still have access to your old number, you can login to Healthy Together with that number on a different mobile device and the verification code will be sent to the old number.
If you no longer have access to your old phone number, you will need to create a new Healthy Together account. In order to get past results there, reach out to your testing facility to update your previous results to your new phone number. Once updated, they will need to resubmit your results to the Department of Health so you can unlock them in the Healthy Together app under the new account.
I received someone else's results.
If you receive results you don’t recognize on your account, it is possible the testing facility accidentally associated your phone number with the wrong individual. Because your phone number was associated with those results, they were shared with the Department of Health and sent to your Healthy Together account.
Although these results are on your account, you will not be able to unlock them and will still be able to receive your individual results. We will be rolling out a feature soon to remove wrongly associated test results from your account and an update will be noted here.
I need documentation.
For documentation, open your test result in the Healthy Together app. You will have the option to export as a PDF and share via email or text message. If you need a doctor's letter, you will need to reach out directly to your testing center, lab or primary care provider.
